The Driftwood is powered with a pair of 200hp Perkins Turbocharged
diesels. Tankage is 400 gallons of fuel and 300 gallons of water. The
generator is a 12.5kw Onan. The galley is equipped with a microwave,
three-burner electric range with oven, 16 cu. ft refrigerator freezer with
holdover plate, and completely stocked with goodies such as mixers, ice
crushers, coffee maker and service for eight. Both heads are equipped
with showers and house size electric toilets and the master also has a
tub. Electronics include 32 mile radar, GPS, speed-depth-log-water
temperature meters, 2 VHF radios plus 1 hand held, SSB, ham radio
and a Robertson auto pilot interfaced with the GPS. The dinghy is a 12'
Boston Whaler with a 15hp Evinrude.
We think this is one of the nicest and best equipped trawlers in its class.
